Scientific and Technological Cooperation Connection between Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Phuong Thanh Dentistry
On March 4, 2026, Phuong Thanh Dentistry was honored to welcome the delegation from the Faculty of Chemical Technology – Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry for a visit and working session to discuss directions for scientific and technological cooperation in the dental field.
The delegation included the following scientists:
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong – Dean
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Nguyen Minh An – Vice Dean
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Hieu
  • Dr. Ngo Quang Huy
During the meeting, the two sides discussed many potential directions for cooperation, especially research on applying Vietnam’s herbal resources and indigenous materials in dentistry.
The combination of the university’s scientific research capacity and the practical clinical experience at Phuong Thanh Dentistry promises to open up many new directions such as:
  • Development of herbal oral care products.
  • Safe biocompatible dental materials.
  • Treatment solutions that are friendly to both health and the environment.
The meeting marked the beginning of upcoming research and technology transfer programs, contributing to enhancing the scientific and practical value of Vietnam’s indigenous resources in oral healthcare.
