Handover of a “Great Solidarity” House to a Severely Disadvantaged Household in Tan Khanh Dong Commune

On the afternoon of May 7, 2025, Phuong Thanh Dental Co., Ltd., in coordination with the People’s Committee of Tan Khanh Dong Commune, held a ceremony to hand over a “Great Solidarity” house to a household in especially difficult circumstances in Dong Quoi Hamlet, Tan Khanh Dong Commune, Sa Dec City.

This activity was part of the 2025 program “Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses” in Tan Khanh Dong Commune, aiming to support housing for disadvantaged families and help them stabilize their lives and improve their economic conditions.

The beneficiary of this “Great Solidarity” house was Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong. Her family has relied on hired and seasonal labor for their livelihood and therefore lacked the means to build a decent home.

The house was constructed on an area of 60 square meters, with a corrugated metal roof and tiled floors, at a total cost of approximately VND 100 million. Of this amount, the “Smile for Life” Fund of Phuong Thanh Dental Co., Ltd. provided VND 60 million, while the remaining cost was covered by the family.

The “Smile for Life” Fund of Phuong Thanh Dental Co., Ltd. was established and maintained for charitable purposes, contributing practical values to the community. Activities supported by the fund are not only material assistance but also acts of compassion and encouragement, helping poor and near-poor households overcome difficulties and strive for a better life.
